Overview

EmberTend is designed with your privacy in mind. We believe your task data is personal, and we treat it that way.

Data Collection & Storage

EmberTend stores your task content (task names, progress, paused tasks, and settings) on your device, including app-group storage used for widgets and Live Activities.

AI Features

EmberTend uses Apple on-device language models to generate task clarification and stuck-flow suggestions when available. We do not send task text to our own backend for these features.

Analytics

We collect product analytics events to improve reliability and product quality (for example: feature usage, subscription flow events, and app lifecycle events). Analytics are processed by PostHog. We do not use your data for ad targeting and we do not sell personal data.

Third-Party Services

EmberTend currently uses:

• Apple App Store / StoreKit for subscription billing
• PostHog for product analytics

These services are governed by their own privacy policies in addition to this policy.

Payments

Subscription purchases are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page with the new date.
